I believe that being compassionate with ourselves often begins by understanding where our struggles come from. For many neurodivergent people, the world is largely set up for neurotypical ways of thinking and being, which means many needs can go unnoticed, unmet, or pushed aside over time. This can lead to feelings of worry, emotional heaviness, self-doubt, burnout, and hiding parts of yourself, and feeling disconnected from who you really are. In our work together, we slow things down and start there.
Many of the people I see come to therapy feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected after years of trying to fit in, feeling misunderstood, or adapting themselves to a world that has not always made space for their needs. Over time, our work together supports you to develop a kinder, more accepting relationship with yourself, build confidence, and feel more able to live in ways that truly reflect who you are.
