I believe that being compassionate with ourselves often begins by understanding where our struggles come from. For many neurodivergent people, the world is largely set up for neurotypical ways of thinking and being, which means many needs can go unnoticed, unmet, or pushed aside over time. This can lead to feelings of worry, emotional heaviness, self-doubt, burnout, and hiding parts of yourself, and feeling disconnected from who you really are. In our work together, we often slow things down and begin with building self-understanding at a pace that feels right for you.

Many of the people I see come to therapy feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected after spending years navigating a world that often prioritises neurotypical ways of thinking and being. This can involve masking, adapting, or pushing aside your own needs in order to get by, which can take a real toll over time.

In our work together, we gently create space to understand your unique way of experiencing the world, reconnect with your needs, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself. From there, we focus on supporting you to live in ways that feel more sustainable, authentic, and aligned with who you are.
